Would stay here again! Everything was described accurately and the grounds were very peaceful. The room was. but dark and outdated but it is a castle!

Traumhaftes altes Castello! Die Zimmer sind wie im Inserat beschrieben. Wir haben einmal im Restaurant zu Abend gegessen und waren begeistert. Bei der Reiseplanung sollte man die Check in und Check out Zeiten beachten.

Unser Aufenthalt war sehr entspannend. Die Unterkunft zeichnet sich vor allem durch die ruhige Lage und die wunderschöne und gepflegte Anlage aus. Der Pool liegt sehr ruhig und war absolut ausreichend. Die Städte rundherum waren sehr gut erreichbar, die Unterkunft war eine super Ausgangslage für Tagesausflüge. Florenz ist beispielsweise innerhalb von 25 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Wir sind zu einem großen, kostenlosen Parkplatz gefahren und dann mit der Trambahn in das Stadtzentrum, das war hervorragend. Für viele Tagesausflüge liegen Flyer mit allen wichtigen Infos aus. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung war ausreichend, alles notwendige war vorhanden. Wie üblich sollte man an Gewürze, Klopapier, Öl etc. denken. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Das Restaurant in der Unterkunft war hervorragend! Wir können die Unterkunft absolut empfehlen!

O castelo é bem conservado, há também um restaurante no local, que precisa de reserva, que serve pratos muito bons. Eles contam com uma piscina bem grande também. O mercado mais próximo estava a 20 minutos de carro.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour à Montegufoni. Le château est très beau et dans un cadre magnifique et très calme, le personnel es très accueillant.

We had a wonderful time at Castello Di Montegufoni. A beautiful location with incredible views. The rooms are very traditional Italian, very rustic. Loved it. Ours was called Torre 2. Spacious room with a big balcony with stunning views. Bathroom was modern and clean. Every staff member we encountered we're truly lovely. They couldn't be more attentive. I wanted to give a shout out to Francesco in the restaurant. Very knowledgeable, attentive and warm person. Talked us through each wine and knew everything on the menu. Even gave us recommendations of places to go and things to do. Definitely considering coming back here again next year. Hopefully we don't get bad weather this time! Thank you.

A beautiful location right around the corner for Firenze! Good equipped apartments, really comfortable to stay in and explore the beautiful Tuscany. Unique location too :)

Gentilezza, disponibilità, location stupenda. Il nostro appartamento era dotato di uno splendido camino e di un lavandino in pietra . I bellissimi pavimenti in cotto toscano d’epoca, l’arredamento in stile shabby, ogni particolare curato per rendere calda e confortevole l’atmosfera. La loggia privata, a cui si accedeva da una scala interna alla camera da letto, con vista sul cortile interno era davvero suggestiva. Il bagno moderno, funzionale. L’unica pecca, se dovessi trovare un difetto, è l’eccesso di calcare lasciato sul soffione della doccia. Abbiamo anche cenato al “Ristorantino”, cibo buono decisamente. Un posto incantevole.

We had a fabulous time at this castle. Note that it is remote, does not have amenities that you might expect at a hotel or air bnb. We found it VERY useful to have our own car, which I rented from Sicily by Car a the Florence airport for about $185euro for 4 days, including the upgraded insurance for Europe. COOP grocery is the closest normal grocery but there is also a small grocery down the hill in Baccaiano, about a 10 minute walk (no liquor). And there is a cute winery up the hill the other direction for take-out (no tastings currently due to covid). There are several fun and not expensive restaurants in every direction throughout the various towns. The castle does have wifi but it's a little spotty so I also used data when on site at times, and definitely for traveling about (Waze is the best phone app for driving around, even in Europe). Staff was friendly and helpful, but you really never saw them, nor needed them for anything. You're pretty much on your own. I would recommend also for larger groups....but again, plan your transportation situation bc taxis are prohibitively expensive. Best way to get into Florence BY FAR is by bus from Baccaiano right down the hill....again just a 10 minute walk. Bus schedules available in lobby area at castle. Sundays, the schedules are highly limited, so pay attention.

This is a beautiful, well-appointed hotel in a lovely historic castle.
We loved our tower apartment with its own balcony. The main terrace and surrounding gardens are very lovely.
WiFi In the room was weak, but it was OK downstairs and we didn’t really mind!

Die Anlage ist großartig, das Zimmer ist sehr spatanisch eingerichtet aber sehr urig schön (etwas hellhörig). Die Lage ist gut. Wir können unser Zimmer weiterempfehlen.

Die Burg Montefugoni ist wunderschön, einzigartige Atmosphäre und traumhafter Ausblick über die Landschaft.
