Beautiful property available for rent with a private swimming pool, located just a short distance from the town of Certaldo.
The structure in subdivided into 3 apartments, (there is no internal access between apartments) which come rented to one single party as a single rental villa. The largest apartment holds a dining room large enough for 8 guests to dine together.
The owners (who are very friendly but not intrusive) manage a family agricultural business from the same location and live a few meters away but do not share any of the outdoor areas with the guests – they do reserve access to a passage which runs below the largest apartment for use only when truly necessary. They will be available should guests require help or advice for what to visit and where to go to enjoy the best of Tuscany.
The property available for rent and the property where the owners live are separated by a border of flowers which gives the guests the most privacy possible.
This beautiful Tuscan property with a swimming pool is strategically located, this makes it easy for guests to see this region’s fantastic well-known towns and cities such as Certaldo, San Gimignano, Volterra, Florence, Siena and the Tuscan countryside.
The small town of Sciano is found just 450m from the house (easily reached on foot).
Available to guests: swimming pool reserved for the exclusive use of guests 12 x 6 m – maximum depth 1.7 m – minimum depth 1.2 m) open from 8am until 8pm and surrounded by beautiful garden, fenced and furnished with a gazebo, sunbeds and an outdoor shower, furnished area in front of the apartments with table and chairs for outdoor dining, Ping-Pong table. The rental has a safe (one in each of the apartments) and children’s cot (available upon request). Parking at the property. Pets are not allowed.
Distances: Sciano - 450m, Certaldo with a wide variety of shops and a train station - 5 km, San Gimignano - 18 km, Siena - 42 km, Volterra - 45 km, Florence (airport) - 45 km, Pisa (airport) - 80 km.

Wonderful place near Certaldo with a fantastic view of Tuscany Inclusive San Gimignano and Certaldo Alto.
We had all of the three appartments with several well equiped kitchens. Everything was clean and the outdoor seating areas were lovely.
The very friendly owners live across the yard and are very kind and helpful. You have your own gateway with a remote control.
The pool is very big and clean and is located a few steps below the house with a small garden gate, which is perfect if you travel with little children.
The Next supermarket is in Certaldo about 15 Minutes away and there is a lovely Restaurant in Sciano 2 min away with a really good price-perfomance ratio.
This was one of the best stays we ever had in Tuscany!

Casa Vasco is a very clean and comfortable villa, beautifully situated with gorgeous views across the Tuscan countryside. We were a family with 3 adults and 3 kids and we all spent hours in the pool each day which is such a God send in the hot weather. Barbara, Fabio and Federico are incredibly helpful, friendly and not at all intrusive. You can walk into Certaldo in around 45 minutes but it is hilly and if you go in the height of summer as we did, the walk is not easy in the extreme heat. I would definitely recommend a car. Overall we loved our stay and would book again.

mooi gelegen vakantiehuis, zeer vriendelijk en correct ontvangst door de eigenaars, appartementen zeer proper en fris, basisinrichting, zwembad is top (iets meer schaduw rond het zwembad zou fijn zijn), zeer goed restaurant op wandelafstand

Fint hus med mycket vackert läge mitt i Toscana, väldigt tillmötesgående ägare.
Sängarna kunde vara mjukare och mer komfortabla.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche. Alles war sauber und freundlich und das Schwimmbad in dem schönen Garten unser meist besuchtester Ort. Wir haben gute Tipps von Barbara bekommen und haben somit Certaldo für uns entdeckt. Eine wahre Perle! Zum Essen und auch um durch den nahegelegenen Park runter in den neuen Teil des Ortes zu gelangen und mit der Sellbahn wieder hoch zu fahren. Klasse!

the host Barbara is very friendly and well willing to help if needed. the villa is a wonderful place to stay. the pool is very clean and was cleaned every evening. it is an authentic Italian villa. closeby there is a perfect pizzeria ( reservation is needed). the appartments are well suited. clean beds and bathrooms. To go short.....a perfect place to stay!!!!!

Bright house in the most beautiful area. Wonderful to visit Siena, Florence, San Gimignao and Certaldo. Certaldo is located so close to the property that you can comfortably drink an aperitif and after that drive only 5 minutes. Also the walking distance to Sciano we liked it. Good to recommend.

Das Haus ist sauber und ordentlich. Es wäre schöner ohne die Bilder aber das weiss man ja vorher. Es ist wirklich sehr gut gelegen und das Beste sind die Besitzer selber: sehr nette und hilfsbereite Leute mit denen man sich gerne unterhält. Vielen Dank!

Nice holiday with 2 families. In Certaldo there was a medieval festival, which was insanely full but stunningly beautiful; Mercantia.
Already worth it to come here.
