Casale Giulio

Giulio was an amazing host! He was there to greet us and showed us all around the property and the home. He was so helpful and gave some awesome recommendations which we took him up on. The house was on a beautiful piece of land and was the perfect location for our stay.

House is in great location, very peaceful with lovely gardens. Good facilities in house, but as it is an old farmhouse, the kitchen could do with refurbishment to bring it up to modern standards. Pool was always kept very clear and clean. Local town, Cetano, has plenty to offer in the way of cafes and restaurants. Nearest big supermarket is 15 minutes away in Chiusi.

The villa was charming and comfortable with a truly spectacular view of the countryside. The rooms were spacious and welcoming. The location was perfect, only 5 minutes from Cetona for an easy dinner out, and near to several towns in Tuscany that we wanted to explore.

Gulio i Jego Matka bardzo przyjaźni i sympatyczni. w stałym kontakcie w razie potrzeby. najlepszy dom, w jakim do tej pory byliśmy. na pewno będziemy chcieli wrócić!

Fantastic villa and Giulio was a perfect host. I would definitely recommend this villa, if it was not for the fact that I want to keep it for myself!

We had the most amazing holiday in this beautiful clean villa. We enjoyed spending time by the pool in the gardens amongst the pomegrate and olive trees. The location was super as only 5 minutes from a lovely town with supermarket and great restaurants and bars. We could also easily get the train to Rome and Florence and drive to other pretty towns. The perfect holiday for our family of five, even our teenagers didn’t want to leave…..Thankyou to Guilio, the very helpful owner.

Wunderbares Haus: gross und großzügig. Sehr nette Besitzer die uns Restaurants und Weinproben empfohlen haben und durch die wir Stellen entdeckt haben, die nicht touristisch überlaufen waren. Das Orcia-Tal ist wunderschön und die Thermalbäder in der Nähe grossartig. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

We had a fantastic stay at this property and I would really recommend it. The owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful, the views from the property were fantastic, and the villa itself was very charming, comfortable and great value for money. The villa is sbout 50 minutes drive from the gorgeous town of Orvieto and also very close to the dramatic scenery of Val d´Orcia. I would definitely stay here again.

Already on arrival we felt very well . If you drive through a great cypress avenue on your holiday home you have to get in a good mood. Then you are greeted very nice and enter the wonderful bright living room, all in the most beautiful area: this is the perfect holiday! The only stupid thing was that we only booked 1 week ....

Wir waren begeistert von dem Haus und kommen ganz bestimmt wieder. Das Orcia-Tal hat uns sehr positiv überrascht: es war das erste und bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal in dieser Gegend. Die Besitzer sind umwerfend nett!

This villa is beautiful! It sits up on a hill with gorgeous views. When you turn into the long driveway there is a long line of Cypress trees on both sides lining the drive. We mostly lived in the back room which has glass on 3 sides. The inside is very clean, lots of windows & has 3 bathrooms. It has a lot of personal items which make it a home, as opposed to the usual rental properties.It was love at first sight. When I was first looking I hestitated due to the lack of references & the open availability (meaning it wasn't a popular rental). But I found out when I arrived that it is a fairly new rental due to a death in the family.The owners & housekeeper were very nice & extremely helpful. Judy P, Boynton Beach, FL
