Magnifique séjour au Castello Montegufoni qui restera marqué à vie dans nos souvenirs! Emplacement de rêve dans un décor enchanteur. La chambre était très mignone et correspondait à la description.

Leuke locatie en omgeving om volledig tot rust te komen. Het zwembad is zeker een troef!

Posto incantevole, Pulito, ordinato, facile da raggiungere. Perfetto per relax e a giusta distanza da Firenze - Lucca - Pisa - Pistoia. La struttura è pulita, fresca, ottimi consigli lasciati stampati (menu - dove andare - che cosa fare - massaggi - taxi e via dicendo). La nostra camera era priva di aria condizionata però c'era un ventilatore che ha fatto il suo lavoro. Siamo stati 2 notti in coppia. Il ristorante è aperto solo la sera per cui per colazione e pranzo bisogna trovare una soluzione, in zona ci sono alimentari bar ristoranti e cantine per cui è facile arrangiarsi. Consiglio e spero di tornarci anche fuori stagione (primavera o autunno) per vedere i colori della campagna

Die Bilder zeigen nicht annähernd, wie schön diese Unterkunft ist. So habe ich mir meinen Aufenthalt in Florenz vorgestellt. Wir haben spontan um einen Tag geschoben und das war absolut problemlos. Ganz nette Menschen, eine atemberaubende Unterkunft. Wir waren einfach nur hin und weg. Aber Achtung, in ein paar der Räume gibt es kein W-Lan. Für uns absolut kein Problem. Danke für die tollen Tage bei euch!

Eine schöne Unterkunft in einem prunkvollen Anwesen. Das hier angebotene Zimmer gehört eher zu den kleineren Zimmern im Haus und hat leider keinen Ausblick. Das Zimmer groß genug für den Aufenthalt, leider war uns die Dusche viel zu klein. Darüber hinaus gab es nichts zu bemängeln. Der Pool war sauber und hatte schöne liegen zum entspannen. Einen Besuch ist die Unterkunft wert.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Ist vor Ort noch viel schöner als wie auf den Bildern. Perfekte Unterkunft einfach um sich zu erholen

Het is waanzinnig verblijven in dit schitterende kasteel! Je stapt een ansichtkaart in, het kasteel is schitterend, net zoals het uitzicht. De staff is ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam en in het restaurant kun je heel lekker dineren. Een geweldige uitvalsbasis in Toscane!

A circa 20/30 min d’auto da Firenze, 45 min da San Giminiano e Volterra e un’ora da Siena, quest’alloggio permette di godere delle bellezze Toscane nella più totale tranquillità, circondati dal paesaggio e dalla bellezza di questo castello. L’appartamento è molto ben arredato e confortevole.

Très bien accueilli, le logement est très sympathique et le cadre du château aussi. Un super marché Coop est situé à 10min en voiture, pratique pour les courses et Florence est a 30 min seulement. Les hôtes sont aussi très agréable et a l'écoute peut importe la langue. Très bonne expérience passée

We had a wonderful stay at Castello di Montegufoni! The stuff is super friendly & lovely. The Castello is just magnificent!! Perfect get away!

We loved our stay! The castle is ca 30 min with car to florence, and is situated in beautiful hills in the Tuscany countryside. The castle has as lot of history and the gardens are extremely beautiful! BUT you have to understand that it is a very old building and not a modern comfortable luxury resort. The castle is a charming, special and very beautiful accommodation but it gets very cold at night and the rooms are rather dark and have old bathrooms,floors etc. This was no problem for us because we really enjoyed staying in a place with this much history and character. I read a lot of negative reviews criticizing this, so I just wanted to point it out for future guests, so that they are prepared, even tho for us this was no problem at all.

The rooms are clean. Wi-Fi did not work in the room. The restaurant in the castle was also closed. But we were given a list of restaurants in the area. You also need to pay for heating, 8 euros per day. You will learn this by the fact of eviction. In general, it is a very beautiful and interesting place.

We stayed at Castello Montegufoni as part of our honeymoon. The location is nice, in the middle of the Tuscan countryside and the staff are really helpful and speak great English. The restaurant is amazing and as vegans, catered for us really well and we had a lovely evening meal which they set up for us away from everyone else. However a few things really let down this part of the trip for us as honeymooners. We found the room to be a lot darker than the images. There was one tiny window in the corner so you constantly needed the lights on. Felt like we were staying in a larder really, so didn't give us the romantic vibes we wanted at all. The place was fully booked so we couldn't move rooms, although the staff were understanding about it. As self-catering accommodation, take note there's no oven which limited some cooking options, no simple condements like salt, pepper, olive oil. Which would have been useful as you end up having to buy far too much in the shops for the sake of a few days, just to throw out at the end. The most important thing of note is there are LOADS of mosquitoes. We left Tuscany with at least 30+ bites on us and it really disrupted our sleep every night. We did notice a screen over the window but not one small enough to keep tiny mosquitoes out and it was left open when we arrived! I would heavily suggest the Poserelli Villas to invest in mosquito nets over the beds as it's not really something you'd think about coming to the Tuscan countryside for the first time. I'm sure if there had been another room available for us and we were prepared for the mosquitoes it may have been closer to what we were hoping. But on this occasion, the experience could have been better.

We were staying at the Castle as part of a party for a wedding in the area so didn't pick to stay there as such. Our group was mixed in terms of ages including children and everyone fell in love with the place! We will definitely be going back.
