Montegufoni, Acciaioli 3

This is just as stunning as its photographs. It made an ideal base for us to strike out to Pisa, Sienna, a beach and San Gimignano. Their own restaurant was nice and we also found others within 10 minutes drive for variety. A high point for us was to go on their top recommended wine tasting at a nearby castle. We learnt a lot and their Chianti was superb.

Wir waren 5 Tage in diesem wunderschönen Ort ein paar Kilometer außerhalb von Florenz. Das Schloss ist wunderschön und gepflegt und auch der Pool lädt zum Verweilen ein. Auch das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen. Mit den Öffis kommt man kostengünstig und binnen kürzester Zeit zum Hauptbahnhof. Erwähnenswert ist auch die Freundlichkeit des Teams. Insgesamt ein sehr gelungener Urlaub. Vielen lieben Dank!

Beautiful villa in a very nice location. The unit was very spacious and comfortably fit my family. The hosts were also flexible in accommodating a place that fit my entire family. Overall great stay and would definitely go again.

Très bon accueil au château, situé à un emplacement idéal pour avoir une vue magnifique sur la campagne toscane. Personnel très arrangeant et agréable. Points négatifs : manque d'équipements dans le logement, propreté qui laisse à désirer et présence d'humidité.

We loved our stay & will come back again next summer. A gorgeous castle setting & great for groups or couples. Beautiful setting and pool area. The houses are simple and plenty of room to have luggage. Fans inside & no air conditioning however we slept fine with the fans. Recommend bringing drinks and snacks to stock the fridge as it’s a little drive to an open supermarket & shops have funny opening times in summer. Some shops weren’t open so we kept driving. Restaurant is super cute & you can also just order drinks and find a nice spot on one of the many balcony areas to sit with a drink.

We loved our stay at castle Montegufoni. The castle and garden are really worth the visit!

The location is not only beautiful with the historic chateau but also ideal for sightseeing in Tuscany. We enjoyed our stay very much.
The hosts are very friendly and helpful.
Our only suggestion is to create a charging facilitation for electric cars since charging in Tuscany is not easy. It would be a great plus to charge overnight at the Chateau.

Beautiful grounds. A few things were not quite as clear as they could have been. Supposed to have cash for a deposit upon arrival. They did take a credit card which would have been fine but had a bit of difficulty finding an atm. Not a huge deal but just a heads up. There is a bus that runs from Florence but we were very happy we had a car. Overall we would stay again in a heartbeat

Montegufoni is an amazing placce to stay. Everything about it is amazing, the property , the location, countryside. We had a wonderful time and booked again for next year before leaving.
