A charming place to stay - beautiful location with lots of history. Staff incredibly helpful and nice. Quite the decaying grandeur feel if you like that..we loved it! Tons of character!

Really nice and warmth welcome and an impressive architecture to enjoy within a scenery of wineyards and olive trees.

This place is so beautiful it is beyond words. The staff in both reception and the restaurant are sweet and kind! I wanted to give it 5 stars but unfortunately we ran into a couple problems i won’t list them all here! We were expecting to stay in the castle (and we did have access to it) but not one of the rooms inside of it. The room we did have in a building next to it was really nice and clean and cute! Also I think it’s VERY important to note that if you are going to stay here you should have a car as public transportation is not reliable and a taxi is around 100€ to go anywhere from here! The only other thing was that we received a packet after checking in with a lot more information and rules about the stay than what is listed here on airbnb. I think that a lot of them apply more to people staying a long duration.

Super Lage, nur 35 Minuten von Florenz. Tolle „Schlossatmosphäre“, sehr idyllische Plätze u.A. auch im Restaurant oder der Bar mit wunderschönem Ausblick. Die Kommunikation vorher und vor Ort war freundlich, schnell und unkompliziert. Wir hatten ein kleines Häuschen direkt am Parkplatz (das war uns vorher bekannt). Einziges Manko: Die Ausstattung der Küche war sehr einfach und der kleine Garten mit Blick auf den Parkplatz lud nicht gerade zum Verweilen ein, aber dafür gibt es im Schloss ausreichend andere schöne Plätze um sich aufzuhalten.

In general a nice stay at a resort that deserves the average rating of three stars as the average quality matches the reasonable price paid. The unusual high temperatures challenged both the resort and our stay and is obviously not to blame on the resort.The restaurant on the castle is amazing. Really good local Tuscan food at reasonable prices and a very frindly staff.
We took a drive to Vada at the coast to have a day on the beach which was also a nice breakaway.

Après une petite mésaventure avec notre premier appartement (situé au milieu du parking... Et non "à proximité" ....Attention!), la réception a été très agréable a fait tout son possible pour trouver une solution. Nous avons donc intégré un autre appartement (La Torre) qui s'est révélé très agréable, grand et confortable).
Le site et le château sont magnifiques et la piscine agréable.
L'accueil et la communication sont très bons.
Attention aux moustiques l'été...

Incredible, would love to go back

Les personnels de l'accueil et du restaurant nous ont très bien reçu et informé. Les infrastructures sont très bien entretenues, propres et le site est très calme et bien situé pour visiter le Chianti. Merci à tout le personnel pour sa gentillesse.
