Haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt - die Unterkunft ist uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen!

Wir genossen den Aufenthalt sehr. Eine räumlich grosszügige, vielfältige, herrschaftliche historische Anlage mit vielen Aufenthaltsorten ausserhalb der Wohnung und einem sehr schönen Garten. Auch das Abendessen im Freien im Restaurant, welches jeweils am Abend offen hatte, war sehr gastfreundlich und mit gutem Essen. Bei Fragen wurde gerne geholfen. Ein Auto ist sinnvoll, da etwas abgelegen.

It was a beautiful place to stay and it was so peaceful, the scenery is out of this world! The castle looks exactly like the images and was breathtaking, only thing I would mention is that you have to self cater everything yourself which we weren’t overly aware of when we arrived. For example, there was only 1 toilet roll, 1 bin bag, no coffee/tea etc so you need to supply everything yourself just so you can prepare. Well worth a stay here! Loved it!

We readily enjoyed our time here. Great apartment and facilities. Recommend

Beautiful place to stay. Gorgeous views; amazing grounds to explore & lovely pool. All staff very attentive & the restaurant was very good. The Castle was beautiful & rustic loved the whole experience & vibe of the Tuscany countryside.????

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in der Unterkunft. Die Räumlichkeiten sind Geschmackssache. Wir mochten die besondere Atmosphäre aber auf andere mag das auch bedrückend wirken. Die Wohnung ist sehr großzügig geschnitten und einfach eingerichtet. Wir hatten uns mehr von der Küche versprochen, in der nur das Nötigste vorhanden war und welche aus unserer Sicht nicht zum Kochen einlud. Die Gartenanlage mit Pool ist sehr schön und man hat einen tollen Blick über die Toskana. Für uns war die Übernachtung im Castello etwas ganz besonderes!

Beautiful location & unique experience to stay in this castle. Only complaint was that the bar opend at six o'clock.

Sehr schönes altes Schloss, schöner Pool, großer Garten, der allerdings etwas gepflegter sein dürfte. Die Wohnung war sehr groß, allerdings dunkel und stickig und nur mäßig sauber. Sehr gutes Restaurant und sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal.

This place is amazing. What a great setting. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and my son wants to return here to get married! Heads up, If you are counting on WiFi while here to make travel plans you are going to have some trouble.

Beautiful grounds in a gorgeous Tuscany countryside castle. We enjoyed the pool and exploring the cities of Siena and San Gimignano from the castle. Did not have WiFi in our 3 bedroom apartment

Ein wunderbares Anwesen, eine herrliche Wohnung, ein schönes Umland, überaus freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, fast ausschließlich angenehme und kultivierte Gäste.
Aber eine einzige rücksichtslose ...... Familie reicht, um das alles zu zerstören.
Wie überall in Europa.
Wir sind drei Tage früher als geplant abgereist und werden nur wiederkommen, wenn uns garantiert werden kann, dass diese Sorte von Gästen nicht mehr angenommen wird.

We had a really good time and the property we stayed in was excellent. The facilities were very good and a very nice relaxed atmosphere. Staying in the castle was a great experience however the sound proofing is not that great, however this is to be expected in such an old building - there are notices to keep volumes down between certain times 11pm - 8am.
Our biggest mistake was not preparing for Mosquitos...I would suggest that everyone going here buys a zapper before they go and plug in well before going to sleep...we made the silly mistake of letting a few in after our first night out and we suffered because of this for a few days.
Great weather, lots to do, many places to see - Siena is the best though in my opinion and only 45 mins away in a car.
One last thing, if you are going to rent a car, I would swerve trying to get a cheap deal and stick to a known company such as Europcar as you will incur many hidden charges and potentially not the car you ordered - a few people we met had the same issue.
With regards to the Villas / castle - highly recommended and great value for money...oh if you do go, when you come out of the resort, drive through Barccaiano, turn right and head along that road for about 3 minutes and you will find a lovely little restaurant on the right hand side - fantastic food and service!

The apartment is beautiful and we loved our time there. We found the apartment quite dark inside and a little cold in September with its stone floors. I would suggest more lighting and more floor rugs for this time of year.
The apartment was perfectly clean and a joy to stay in. Lovely being so close to Florence and yet have such lovely views. Giuseppe and Simona were the only people we meet really and they were both lovely, especially Simona who wanted to be helpful all the time and her collegue who ran the bar on Sundays.
