The tuscan dream! What an amazing place to spend a few nights. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in dieser Außergewöhnlichen Anlage. Die Zimmer war gut ausgestattet und sauber. Die Anreise mit dem Auto ist Pflicht, zu Fuß ist das Schloss so gut wie gar nicht zu erreichen. Man kann von hier aus viele Dinge unternehmen, wir besuchten Pisa, Siena, Montepulciano, San Gimignano und Florenz. Die Nähe zu Florenz war der Grund weshalb wir dieses Appartement wählten. Das Restaurant im Schloss war hervorragend. Der Pool war sauber und die Gärten waren wunderschön. Einige Dinge in der Anlage sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, was dem ganzen keinen Abbruch. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Charming, quiet & private estate. The onsite restaurant is very good! The grounds are kept well & the apartment was lovely. Things to note are there is no coffee, breakfast or lunch service onsite and nothing super close by. Your best bet would be to grab some groceries before you get there. Il Folcolare was a hidden gem of a restaurant we actually did walk to and it was extremely good with local wines. If you are looking for low key and down time, this is your spot!

Das Schloss in dem unser Zimmer war ist wirklich toll! Man hat einen traumhaften Ausblick von der Terasse! Dem alten Gebäude geschuldet ist es, dass das Zimmer sehr dunkel ist. Unser Zimmer hatte Fliegengitter, was viel wert ist! Das Badezimmer ist in die Jahre gekommen. Der Aufenthalt dort war aber wirklich toll auf Grund des ganzen drum herums! Der Pool war immer gut besucht. In dem Restaurant muss immer reserviert werden, das Essen ist sehr lecker gewesen also lohnt es sich. Die Anlage an sich war zu jeder Zeit sehr sauber.

Prachtig kasteel met een ruime kamer en heerlijk zwembad! Daarnaast een heerlijk restaurant in het zelfde kasteel, zeker proberen waard.

I stayed with some friends here for a couple of nights and it was totally worth the drive out from Florence! I would highly recommend getting a car because a taxi can be impossible to get, and we were able to drive to all of the close by wineries for tastings!!

Beautiful views in a great location. Dinner was amazing at their restaurant. The grounds and gardens were exceptional.

Loved our stay. Spacious rooms and the balcony was a huge bonus. Sad we didn't enjoy the grounds as much since it was cold but we'd stay again. You definitely need a car as it is very difficult to get around without one, or you can do public transport but it will take 2x as long to get anywhere. The most relaxing time!

I can’t recommend this place enough — we had such a wonderful time here. The grounds were absolutely beautiful, our room was very cozy, and the restaurant was phenomenal. Very friendly & helpful staff — provided a booklet of recommendations upon check-in. We loved the “apartment” approach to the entire villa — it felt less like a hotel and more like a magical home we were lucky enough to occupy for a few nights!

Great place to stay! It definitely is remote so you will need a driver or to rent a car if you are planning to leave to go into Florence. We loved the castle and it was beautiful. The bed was comfortable & the kitchen had what we needed!

Zamek jest przepięknym, klimatycznym obiektem na bajkowej mapie Toskanii. To idealne miejsce na wypoczynek zdala od tłumów, a oddalone jest od Pizy zaledwie o godzinę drogi ;) zdecydowanie polecam przyjechać tu samochodem. Będąc na miejscu warto udać się na spacer po pobliskich polach i wstąpić na degustację lokalnych win i produktów do przeuroczej Pani z Azzienda Agricola Ammirable (via Romita 39, Montagnana). Polecamy serdecznie ♡

Amazing experience!!!

Castello Di Montegufoni was a beautiful place to stay for three nights! We're totally into the Middle Ages so it was the perfect spot for us.

Magical is an understatement! The most romantic place to stay with beautiful views everywhere you look. Felt like a dream. The only downside is that there’s no ac so it was a little hot at night in the room. (We stayed here in August so understandably hot.) But overall amazing!

We went with my little 3yo girl who played the princess for the whole stay. Indeed, it's a real castle and you feel like it! It was amazing. The host are great and speak very well english. The room was clean and comfy. The restaurant were very nice and the waiters so kind. Be carefull: There is the strict minimum stuff inside the room (WC paper, etc..) you should take some if you want to stay more than one night.

Traumhaft schönes Schloss in der Toskana. Eine solche Aussicht kennt man sonst nur aus Filmen. Die Kommunikation, check in und out sind zuvorkommend und einfach. Das dazugehörige Restaurant ist lecker und hat eine tolle Atmosphäre. leider öffnet die Bar erst ab 18 Uhr und es gibt auf dem Schloss keine Möglichkeit Getränke zu kaufen.

La residenza storica è molto affascinante situata nei colli a circa mezz’ora da Firenze in una bellissima cornice di vigneti, uliveti e verde a perdita d’occhio. Il contesto si potrebbe valorizzare molto di più. La camera accogliente arredata in maniera molto sobria ma non mancava niente peccato il bagno molto molto piccolo senza finestra. Nel complesso per una breve permanenza in famiglia siamo stati bene.

The castle if definitely worth a visit. Great base for visiting toscany. Hotel comfort, but private and historik feeling. Do not expect 24h hotel reception, the castle rents out apartments.
