In the heart of Tuscany, at the doors of Chianti, rises this wonderful country-house, recently restored with all comforts and furnished with taste and practicality.
The property, which offers 4 bedrooms and 4 baths, is situated at the top of a hill, where a great part of Valdarno can be viewed, and offers short and long stays during all seasons.
Thanks to the strategic position, La Poggetta allows you to reach important touristic and cultural goals like Florence, Siena and Arezzo, in less than 40 minutes.
The house is surrounded by a wide and inviting fenced garden entered by an automatic gate, with wide spaces of inviting meadows.
You can enjoy the gorgeous view on the Arno Valley and on the Pratomagno, have a wonderful evening preparing delicious foods on the barbecue, let your children play outdoors, pick from the garden and orchard fruit, lettuce, vegetables and aromatic herbs all you need to have an intense relaxing holiday.
Distances: Cavriglia (restaurants, shops, bank, bus stop etc) 1 km far, also reachable on foot.
At guests' disposal:
The large and private swimming-pool (12 x 6 meters; depth: 1.10/2.10) allows you to enjoy the warm Tuscan days.
Under the pool there is a bathroom with shower; garden area with table, chairs and deck-chairs, sun umbrella.
Air-conditioning is provided in the the bedrooms.
Inside the garden there is also a tennis-basket-volleyball court for guest's only use.
Internet Wi-Fi available free of charge; 3 baby beds available; 2 high chairs available
Extra services: cooking lesson, dinners, chef, wine testing, maid service.
An annex with 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and kitchen is available upon request from mid June until mid September (for the rest of the year the annex is occupied by a couple who doesn't use the garden, the pool and all the outside spaces):

La casa è disposta su due piani raggiungibili dal giardino e dal parcheggio tramite scale interne.

Piano terra: studiolo, ampio e confortevole soggiorno arredato e dotato di grande camino e porte-finestre che danno accesso al giardino. Sullo stesso piano si trova l'ampia cucina con tutti i comfort (microonde, forno, macchina per il caffè, lavastoviglie) con accesso diretto al patio (grande barbecue coperto, tavolo, sedie) e l'ampia sala da pranzo, 1 ripostiglio con congelatore, lavatrice. C'è anche un bagno con doccia vicino all'ingresso.
Primo piano 4 camere da letto con letto matrimoniale, armadio, cassettiera. Due camere hanno bagno privato con doccia; un terzo bagno con vasca idromassaggio è accessibile dal corridoio. Tutte le camere hanno finestre direttamente sul giardino.

Abbiamo trascorso una bellissima settimana a fine Agosto 2020 in 8 persone.
La villa è molto bella, camere e bagni belli e ampi.
Bellissima la cucina e la zona pranzo esterna con un bel tavolone comodo vicino alla cucina e un bellissimo barbecue anche illuminato per grigliate notturne.
La cucina è dotata di ogni accessorio necessario, non manca proprio niente.
L'esterno è bellissimo, un grande parco, metà al sole e metà ombreggiato a seconda delle ore del giorno, consente di scegliere sempre dove stare meglio.
I lettini abbondanti sono veramente comodi e la piscina è davvero grande, curata e pulita.
I ragazzi hanno passato quasi tutta la giornata in acqua: con 3 livelli di profondità che scendono gradualmente è possibile fare tuffi, nuotare e giocare.
I proprietari sono gentilissimi e simpatici, più di una volta ci hanno portato le verdure del loro orto.
Tutta la casa è dotata di WiFi e aria condizionata e zanzariere.
Ci siamo trovati veramente bene facendo diverse uscite nelle valli del Chianti tra ulivi e vigneti.

We loved staying here for 2 months. The owners were wonderful. They planted a garden for our use with tomatoes, cabbage, swiiss chard, peppers, cucumbers, etc. they baked us large cake every 2 weeks. The house and grounds are lovely. The beds were comfortable. This house is located outside of town so renting a car might be considered. We walked into town , caught abus or taxi to the train station and explored lots of cities and hill towns. Heating the house is very expensive!

The villa is absolutely amazing, the pictures online don't do it justice. I focused my review on two areas: the hosts and the venue.
We found the owners to be very friendly and accommodating. They surprised us with fresh vegetables from their garden on two occasions during our stay at La Poggetta, which has greatly appreciated. They have also offered to source our red and white wine from a local vineyard (which was delicious and much appreciated!). The price was very reasonable too. They have also offered us a taste of their own olive oil, which we ended up buying to bring home for a very reasonable price.
The villa was very spacious, well-kept and clean! It had all facilities one can expect including four bathrooms, towels, bedsheets, as well as dishwasher and large fridge freezer in the kitchen. The pool is second to none, it's probably the best pool I've had in similar accommodations on the continent. The grounds are well-kept and the garden is very spacious. The outdoor barbeque got a lot of use, it's perfect and the owner's will make sure that it's fully stocked with wood. The villa is close to a reasonably-sized town with a couple of very good restaurants and take-aways. The place is very family-friendly, warm and cosy. I highly recommend it!

thank you for a great weekend at your beautiful paradise! We visited in late May and fully enjoyed ourselves at your property. The house is very spacious, clean and well kept. The yard has a pool, and lots of seating options ... also comes with a tennis court which offered great entertainment! the owners are very friendly, helpful, accommodating. thanks for everything!!! ;)
